Dig Into My Story

I’m Sydney Lappe, a St. Louis-based dietitian with nearly 10 years of experience in nutrition writing and editing. With a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and a psychology background, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the powerful connection between food, fitness, and mental health.

Fitness wasn’t always a big part of my life, though. (I bet my middle school P.E. teacher would fall over knowing I’m training for my second third marathon…) But as I dove deeper into the world of health and nutrition, fitness quickly became a daily priority.

Now, as someone who manages chronic pain, I’ve come to appreciate the gift of movement. I’m passionate about helping others embrace their physical, mental, and emotional well-being while they can.

Creativity is another big part of who I am—I love expressing it through words and graphics, always looking for new ways to inspire and connect with others.

When I’m not consumed in all things health and wellness, you’ll likely find me spending quality time with loved ones, staying active in different ways, and enjoying bottomless cups of coffee and bowls of oatmeal.

TL;DR:

With a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and a background in psychology, I’m driven by the powerful connection between food, fitness, and overall well-being.

My mission?

To help others unlock their potential through a healthier lifestyle.

(If I can go from sneaking by in P.E. to running marathons, I know you can achieve your goals, too!)
